Eau Claire’s fireworks will be launched from their new location on the High Bridge this year, which means you might be looking for a new favorite viewing location. We’ve put together a Top 10 list of where you can get all your oohs and ahhs! Fireworks start at 10:00 PM.

  1. Madison Street Bridge: The street will be closed starting at 5:30 pm for people to watch the show.
  2. Upper Mt. Simon Park & Fields: Head up to the upper park and fields for some A+ firework viewing.
  3. Cannery District Trail: Located on the west side of the Chippewa River leading up to the High Bridge, the trail will offer some up-close views of the fireworks and river.
  4. Forest Street Gardens & North Riverfronts Park: Located along the east side of the Chippewa River leading up to the High Bridge, there will be plenty of lawn and green space to spread out and view the fireworks!
  5. Phoenix Park & Phoenix Park Bridge: Directly downriver from the fireworks, Phoenix Park and the lit pedestrian bridge are a great spot to set up shop for the show.
  6. Haymarket Plaza: Grab a seat in Haymarket Plaza and enjoy all the sparkle at the confluence of the Eau Claire and Chippewa Rivers. Maybe bring some towels in case you want to cool off in the splash pad!
  7. Downtown Parking Ramps: The top levels of both the North Barstow and Gibson Street parking ramps will be closed off for spectators to view fireworks. You can park in the lower levels and take the elevator to the top for quick and easy access!
  8. Grand Ave Pedestrian Bridge: This pedestrian bridge will offer views of the fireworks from a little farther down river.
  9. Owen Park: Fireworks will be visible from Owen Park. Make an evening of it and head down early for Tuesday Night Blues for some entertainment and food before the big show.
  10. The Brewing Projekt: this downtown favorite (along the already-mentioned Cannery District Trail) is hosting a Firework Block Party. Featuring Special releases, cocktails, and a lineup of food trucks for the new firework location, they’ll be a bustling spot for some Fourth of July fun!
